EITC TAX CREDIT

We are approved as an Educational Improvement Organization (EIO) and Scholarship Organization (SO), under Pennsylvania’s Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) program. Through the EITC program, donors can support our innovative educational programs that serve thousands of students from the Philadelphia area each year.

Benefits

Receive a Pennsylvania state tax income tax credit of up to 90% of their contribution.
Receive a 10% federal itemized charitable deduction.
Directly support the TGR Learning Lab.
Provide educational opportunities for students in need.

Eligibility Requirements

Donors must have Pennsylvania-sourced income, meaning they must be employed by, a shareholder of, or a partner in or member of (i.e., own an interest in an LLC) a business that pays taxes in Pennsylvania.
Donors must be current on all state and federal tax obligations.
Donors must be prepared to make a one- or two-year commitment of $5,000 or more per year.

To enroll, join a special purpose entity (SPE) by signing a joinder agreement, which grants access to tax credits and allows them to designate an educational program. For more details, contact Mallory Berger, senior director of advancement, at [email protected] to make an EITC donation.
