PROFESSIONAL LEARNING

Supported by Dod STEM
STEM Studio is a FREE three-day, hands-on professional learning program for in-school and out-of-school educators to create active student-centered environments using inquiry.
STEM Studio is open to educators from all disciplines, grade levels and teaching environments. Hosted at the new TGR Learning Lab, the sessions will provide interactive training, valuable resources and meaningful connections with fellow educators. Complimentary breakfast and lunch provided.
Those who complete the program will be rewarded with a 12-hour professional learning certificate and access to micro-credentials.

Micro-Credentials and Certification

Educators will have the opportunity to receive a micro-credential for each STEM Studio workshop they attend. Additionally, by participating in a STEM Studio workshop, educators will receive a certificate from TGR Foundation for 12 hours of professional learning credit.

“My greatest takeaway from STEM Studio was learning how to incorporate STEM into my life science lesson planning. This was a great help to start of the school year. I look forward to participating in more training to be a better teacher.”
Anthony Michael Edmond-Pinckney
Life Science Teacher, Upper Darby School District

STEM Studio is valued up to $400 and offered at no cost to educators with support from DoD STEM. Space is limited.
